5th and 6th Grade to start Adopt-A-Shelf
The 5th and 6th Graders will begin the Adopt-A-Shelf program the week of January 17th.
Digital Storytelling
|
Grades 5th - 8th are starting the process of Digital Storytelling during library time. Students have been divided into 18 teams within their own classes and their subject matter is Couch Potatoes.
Students must work in groups to create a story about a couch potato or couch potatoes, the storyboard must be completed first before they can move onto the digital process. We will be using iMovie to create their stories, which can include photos, videos, sounds, music and other digital media.
We are excited to see the results; the students have great ideas and some very funny input. Once the project is completed all videos will be posted on the blog randomly.
Adopt-A-Shelf Update
Many thanks to the 7th and 8th Graders for taking on the task of being our Guinea Pigs on this project!
As they near the end of their turn, Mrs. Norris and Mrs. Dorsey would like to thank them for being good stewards the task they accepted.
We are looking forward to some pizza!
